Why should I claim my page via Spotify for Artists?

Viberate for Artists features multiple tools for your career growth. If you claim your page with Spotify for Artists, you'll also connect your stats with Viberate Analytics so you can get better data all in one place: streaming, social, and cross-channel.
If you're not using Spotify for Artists yet, don't worry – you can claim your page by displaying it on one of your social media channels.

I'm not using Spotify for Artists so I haven't set up my “Team” yet. How can I claim my page?

There are two options:
1.   You can claim your page by sharing the link to your Viberate Page on one of your social media channels. See the next question for the steps.
2.   If you want to claim your page via Spotify for Artists, you'll need to get access to your profile first. You can verify your Spotify for Artists profile if you've already published your music on Spotify. During the verification process, you'll also be able to "Add Team". This allows you to add team members, as well as grant our "Read Only" request. See the details here. After you grant our access request, we'll be able to approve your Viberate claim. We'll send you an email once your page is claimed.

If you haven't published your music on Spotify yet, go for the first option and claim your Viberate Page via social media channels.

How can I claim my page with my social media channels?

It's simple:
1.   Log in to Viberate for Artists. Sign up first, if you haven't already done so.
2.   On your home dashboard, we'll ask you to tell us who you are so you can get all the benefits of the Viberate tools. Your page is likely already up, so search for it and select it. If you can't find it, add it yourself and our team will review it promptly.
3.   Select the alternative option for verifying your claim – by posting the link to your Viberate Page to one of your social media channels.
4.   To verify that you're really connected to the artist, we'll ask you to FIRST share the link of your Viberate Page to one of your channels in the bio or as a post – what matters is that our team can see it. Then submit your claim.
5.   That's it for now! Kick back and relax – we'll review your claim request in the next 48 hours and send you an email once verified. After that, your Viberate Page is officially claimed.

Can I see my analytics as a claimed artist?

Yes. Once you claim your page, you're able to see your complete Artist Analytics, including music (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Shazam, Dezeer, Beatport, radio), social (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), and cross-channel analytics.
You also get limited access to detailed track analytics and the Chart of 1M+ artists with their complete analytics to learn from – you can get full access to those by going Premium for $3.25/month.

How can music industry professionals discover my page?

Your page is publicly available in charts with country, genre, and subgenre filters, or simply via “Search”. Get noticed by music professionals looking for artists just like you for an event, festival, or any other collaboration.

Is my page already on Viberate?

Our database is entirely crowdsourced, meaning all artists, venues, festivals, and events are added by users just like yourself. If you can't find the page you're looking for, click the "Add New Page" button and add it yourself. Our team will then review your entry. Once it's confirmed, it will be displayed publicly.

Why is my page missing?

Our database is entirely crowdsourced, meaning all artists, venues, festivals, and events are added by users just like yourself. If you know of an entity we don't have in the database yet, don't hesitate to click the "Add New Page" button and introduce them to the world. Once a new page is added, it takes some time for the analytics to build up. The process usually takes about a week.

Can a member of my team claim my Viberate Page on my behalf?

Yes, whoever has access to your Spotify or official social media channels, such as your manager, social media manager, PR rep, etc., can claim and manage your Viberate Page on your behalf.

Can more users claim the same Viberate Page?

No, only one user can claim an individual Page.

Why was my claim request rejected?

The most common reason for a claim to get rejected is that our team was not able to establish that you have access to an entity's social media channels. In the process of verifying your claim with one of your social media channels, make sure to share it to the entity's Facebook, Twitter, or any other official social media channel, either as a post or in the bio section, and don't remove the post or change the bio section until your claim request has been accepted. Only then can you delete the post or remove the link from the bio section. If your request was rejected, you can always re-submit it. If you feel your request was rejected by mistake, please contact us at support@viberate.com.

How do I connect social media and streaming channels to my page?

To connect social media and streaming channels, click the edit icon below your profile picture on your page. You'll then be taken to Page Editor, where you can modify existing links or add additional ones. After submitting, the changes you've made will become publicly visible in a few hours. Please note that changing social media and streaming channels will affect your analytics.

I've added my page to your database, but I can't find it anywhere. What should I do?

Your submission most likely still needs to be reviewed. Each piece of information you provide goes through a review process before it becomes publicly visible, to ensure that the submitted information is correct and follows our guidelines.
If your submission is denied and you feel that your entry should have been accepted, please contact us at support@viberate.com and we will review your case.

Why are social media and streaming links important?

The social media and streaming links connected to your Artist Page significantly improve the quality of both your Viberate Page and the analytics. By providing as many active links as possible, you enable us to identify trending content, your most popular tracks and videos, and meaningful social media connections and interactions, as well as compile an updated list of events, which is also the foundation for calculating the analytics and keeping your page updated with fresh content.

The channels and information on my page aren't correct. What should I do?

If the information on your page isn't correct, you can edit and correct it. Click the edit icon below your profile picture on your page and edit the linked channels.
Please note that the content displayed on your page is sourced from the linked channels. After changing these links, the content will update as soon as the page syncs with the new channels.

Can I change the genres and subgenres on my Artist Page?

Yes, you can change your genres by editing your page (here are the steps). Please note that the first selected subgenre determines your main genre.

Why is my “Upcoming Events” list not up to date?

Our Event database is derived from various sources, such as ticket providers, event aggregators, our users, etc. While we try to aggregate as many events as we can, it's impossible to catch every event taking place around the globe. You can always add your events by clicking the "Add Event" button at the bottom of your Event list on your in-app Artist Analytics page.
