Rakhim Tahir

Rakhim S. Tahir, now known as RAKS, is a P-pop artist (soloist) from Dumaguete City. He is 23 years old and a signed artist under BEETZEE.

He started performing at six years old, joining local, national, and international competitions.

In 2018, he competed in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Long Beach, California, representing Team Philippines, and won six medals in all the genres he joined. The following year, in 2019, he auditioned for Idol Philippines. In 2023, he started songwriting and released his debut single, Me, Myself, and I. Later that year, he joined his first songwriting competition, where he wrote and choreographed his piece Care to Spend the Rest of the Night with Me and placed 2nd runner-up.

One of his most memorable performances was at SILLIMUSIKA 2024, where he was one of the front acts for LOLA AMOUR. This year, he also performed at V1BE Fest Manila’s “Creators Studio” at the Mall of Asia Arena.

During the pandemic, he discovered K-pop and P-pop, and that’s when he started dreaming of becoming an idol. Since then, he has joined auditions, shows, training camps, and workshops to improve his skills and get closer to his goals.

On October 16, 2024, he signed under BEETZEE Inc. to continue growing as an artist and work on his own music. He is now preparing for his debut single under the label.

RAKS also shares his performances online through his own channel and BEETZEE’s platforms, and he hopes to release more music and content in the future.
