TYLER OGIMAA

Tyler Ogimaa is from Sagkeeng First Nation and resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Started making music in 2010, alongside his brother Eric North, and together, they became the Hendo Bros—releasing two albums together and reaching number one on the Indigenous Music Countdown with their single Blessed (feat. Hellnback) from their second album, in 2017.
Today, the brothers have started separate solo careers, as Tyler Ogimaa & Seymour Munny, and are releasing their first collaboration as solo artists with the single “Tell Me.”
Ogimaa translates to male leader, or chief in the Ojibwe language. Tyler plans on living up to that name, by releasing positive music, to uplift people and to appeal to all ages, as he is proud to be one of the only hip hop artists that will not have vulgar language in his lyrics.
