I am Nctrnm, a boundary-pushing electronic artist and experimental sound designer based in Ontario, California. Known for my meticulously layered soundscapes, field-recorded textures, and unconventional sampling techniques, I blur the line between ambient, experimental, and downtempo electronic music.

My music thrives on contrasts—ethereal atmospheres meet intricate percussive rhythms, while my self-recorded samples lend an organic, tactile quality to my compositions. Avoiding standard sample packs, I craft my own palette from field recordings, found sounds, and manipulated vocal snippets, making every track uniquely my own.

Notable Releases & Evolution
Since debuting with Equinox (2018) and Traces (2019), I have continually evolved, culminating in the PIXEL trilogy, a landmark project exploring sound as a medium for personal and existential reflection.

FLUX (2023) introduced the trilogy’s themes of transition and emotional flux.
GEMINI (2024) deepened the sonic palette with textural soundscapes and intricate rhythmic structures.
AURA (2025, upcoming) will complete the trilogy, tying together its motifs with raw emotion and immersive production.
Beyond instrumental work, I am set to debut my first vocal-driven album, an exploration of identity, universality in lyricism, and personal storytelling. My approach, influenced by artists like FKA twigs, seamlessly integrates voice as both an expressive and textural instrument.

Live & Future Projects
As part of the rollout for AURA, I am preparing for the PIXEL Tour (2025–2026), a Southern California circuit covering Los Angeles, San Diego, Inland Empire, and Palm Springs. My live sets promise a multi-sensory experience, combining immersive visuals, dynamic performance techniques, and experimental live sampling.

With a constantly expanding sound and a fiercely independent creative vision, I continue to reshape the electronic landscape—pushing sonic boundaries, redefining textures, and crafting deeply personal yet universally resonant music.
