ViberatePrivacy Policy — Viberate App for ChatGPT
This Privacy Policy describes how Viberate, d.o.o. (registered in Slovenia at Litostrojska 40, 1000 Ljubljana, VAT SI37268171, hereafter "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Viberate app ("the App") within OpenAI's ChatGPT.
This policy applies specifically to the App. Use of Viberate's main website, REST API, or dashboard is governed by our general privacy policy at https://www.viberate.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy/.
1. Summary
The Viberate app gives ChatGPT access to Viberate's music industry data on your behalf. When you connect it, we receive OAuth access tokens and related authentication information necessary to authenticate requests and serve them against your Viberate account. We do not receive your ChatGPT conversations — only the specific tool calls ChatGPT sends to us.
What we collect: account identifiers, authentication tokens, parameters of tool calls, and operational logs.
What we don't collect: your ChatGPT conversation history, prompts, responses, or content unrelated to tool calls, and no payment card or billing data — the App has no purchase, upgrade, or billing tools. All billing takes place directly at viberate.com, outside ChatGPT.
Why: to authenticate you, serve requests, enforce plan usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
How long: account data for the life of the account; operational logs for 30 days.

2. Data we return to ChatGPT
Tool responses include only the music industry data (artist, track, festival, or chart information) or plan-status fields (Free or Full) needed to answer your request. We do not include internal identifiers, session or trace IDs, or other diagnostic metadata in tool responses.
3. Your subscription
The App can tell you your current plan (Free or Full) through the get_subscription_status tool, but it does not include any tool to purchase, upgrade, manage, or cancel a subscription. To make changes to your plan or billing, visit https://www.viberate.com/mcp-server/ directly — this cannot be done inside ChatGPT, and no billing data passes through the App as a result.
4. Disconnecting the App
You may revoke the App's access at any time by disconnecting it from ChatGPT, or by revoking access in your Viberate account settings. Once disconnected, we stop receiving new tool calls or authentication tokens from ChatGPT for your account.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@viberate.com.
