Splintering. Around the turn of the decade, the group started to disintegrate. In 1960, Tommy Hunt quit to pursue a solo career. After splitting from the "Modern Flamingos" in 1961, Nate Nelson and Terry Johnson went on to release music as the Starglows on Atco Records in 1963.
