In that sense, she's kind of talking about that energy dynamic of being empathic, and for other people who are not empaths, I am not one, but I find it interesting. She continues, "I want to learn how to better manage my own energy. I'm always drained and it's always so hard to recharge." Therefore, I'm interested to know your thoughts on it and how you plan to address it.

I'll offer you a few different solutions to this, I guess. I'll respond to it both as an empath and as a non-empath. Therefore, if you're a non-empath who always feels exhausted, it's necessary to consider the causes of your energy loss. Do you go above and beyond for others? Are you expending too much energy on others? Empaths frequently act in that way. They frequently place themselves at the bottom of the list of priorities and are highly kind and selfless. Therefore, if you're an empath, you really need to be aware of not overextending or giving too much of yourself. So if you're feeling exhausted, it's crucial to consider how much energy you're sending out. such as, where does your energy go? What kind of energy are the individuals you're surrounded with giving out, as well? Are you surrounded by folks that deplete your energy? Do you surround yourself with individuals who make you feel better about yourself, who inspire you, or who make you happy? Or are the individuals you're surrounded by acting like energy vampires, stealing your vitality from you and leaving you feeling depleted? It is crucial to take care of yourself and engage in activities that will recharge you if you identify as an empath and are feeling depleted. Being with people drains my energy, yet since I'm a people person, I can't really avoid it. But I can arrange some time to rest and refuel. I can't spend the entire day on calls with people and not have any alone time, for instance. In order for me to be able to contribute that energy to other people, I need to have time to rest and do the things I enjoy. Knowing what renews you is crucial if you're an empath. It's solitude for me. I'm a quiet person. I need that time alone to just sort of reboot and recharge. It can be being in the outdoors and alone for certain empaths. It could involve doing something relaxing like reading a book, practicing meditation, going swimming, taking a walk, or working out at the gym. Really, it just comes down to what suits you and truly fills your cup. However, it's crucial to understand that you require that time and that you must schedule it for yourself. It is crucial to have time to oneself in order to refuel and fill up your own cup, whether it be for 15 minutes a day or an hour. After that, you can devote time and effort to helping other individuals. A consistent spiritual practice has shown to be quite beneficial for me as an empath. I do meditation, yoga, energy healing, and other forms of energy work frequently. As a result, I continually work on myself and do that self-work to purify and clear my energy. Because I'm taking care of myself, I find that when I'm doing that self-work, my energy is really excellent and I don't feel as exhausted. So I would say that having boundaries is incredibly important for an empath, but it's also necessary to have a spiritual practice and to engage in self-work. There are numerous other activities you might engage in, including journaling, meditation, yoga, and many others. But you must discover what functions for you, and all that matters is that you are looking after yourself and refueling your energy. As a result, it's like a never-ending loop of giving and getting. You must therefore provide energy for others while simultaneously receiving energy for yourself. So, all that's left is finding that equilibrium. That is what I would say, then. (Soft music)

I really appreciate you sharing that. That, in my opinion, is incredibly intriguing. That, in my opinion, is incredibly intriguing. And I believe that's particularly crucial for empaths because, in my opinion, it's quite simple for them to burn out or feel depleted from continually giving their energy to others.
