Djane Maiko

Born in Lithuania, at a young age, she moved to Italy, where she entered the psychedelic scene just after her experience in the underground tekno scene with illegal raves, taz, and squat parties. She enjoyed and studied this world, music, and people every moment until she started organizing parties in 2008. She organized illegal free parties, tekno, and goa. Then, when energies started to clash and different desires about music divided them, she created, with some good friends, the Little Dark Family and organized parties all around Italy, fully oriented on darkpsy, hitech, and experimental vibes, consolidating a darkpsy culture in this country. At these parties, artists like Kindzadza, Psykovsky, Yaminahua, Kasatka, Calyptratus, Dark Whisper, Zik, Kaya, Spiral, Select Project, Kaikkialla, Mimic Vat, Megalopsy, Will O Wisp, Virtuanoise, Alpscore, Kykeon, Spore, Radice, Yara & Malkavian, System Crash, Native Elements, Giuseppe, and many more played! After a long time listening, dancing, organizing, and giving space for many artists to play and express themselves, she understood that she also wanted to contribute to the dancefloor as a performer because she saw how much she could give when she was behind the desks, trying to guide people in a deep psychedelic experience.

Maiko's DJ sets are varied and unique, from slow to fast bpm, always focused on danceable and trance tunes. They range from classic darkpsy to new wave experimental music like psycore, and she also adds some spicy hitech tracks for moments of full euphoria. In her DJ sets, she incorporates music like hip hop, pop, jazz, samba, and other genres depending on the stages she performs.

Currently based in Barcelona, she's fully active in the psychedelic scene, having performed in countries like Italy, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Holland, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Cambodia, Greece, Mexico, USA, Albania, Portugal, Hungary, Australia, Cyprus, and Thailand. Festivals include Universo Paralello, Ozora, Masters of Puppets, Psy-Fi, Atman, Human Evolution, Blackmoon, Anaca Ritual, Shanti Gravity, Hesperus Gathering, Unity Gathering, Magna Mysteria, The Element, Heaven on Earth, and many more to come.
