Is Luke one of the 12 disciples?

Doctor Luke was probably a Gentile. Despite not being one of the original 12 Apostles, he might have been one of the 70 disciples that Jesus chose (Luke 10), and it's possible that he traveled with St. Paul as he carried out his missionary work.
